Chiropractic For Children, Kids Have Spines Too!

•  Today's birthing procedures can put tremendous pressure on a child's spine.

•  Kids fall 2,000 times by the age of two.

•  Each year 4 million children are injured on the playground or team sports.

•  80% of children will complain of back pain by the time they finish with high school.

The First Subluxation…Birth

•  Often 40-50 pounds of pressure to the cervical spine is used in a normal vaginal delivery.

•  Left uncorrected many of the spinal traumas experienced by children become the more difficult to correct problems seen later in adults.

•  Many newborns experience colic, poor sleep, poor appetite, ear infections, etc.

•  Birth is a cause of subluxation for both mother and child.

•  Uncorrected can lead to bedwetting, asthma, allergies, attention deficit, and scoliosis.

“As the twig bends, so grows the tree”

•  Optimize their growth and development with an optimal spine and nervous system.

•  Left uncorrected, subluxations will worsen over time and cause a breakdown in spinal mechanic performance and affect the health of the nervous system.

Adjustments on Children

•  Adjustment techniques are modified for each person's size and unique spinal problem, and an infant's spine rarely has the long-standing muscle tightness seen in adults.

•  A child's chiropractic adjustments are gentle, comfortable and effective. No more pressure than you'd use to test the ripeness of a tomato.

•  Kids don't need the number of adjustments that adults and our seasoned patients may need.

•  Did you know that some insurance coverages often waive co-pays for their chiropractic check-ups? Please ask the front desk to set aside a few minutes to check your children on your next visit.
